https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA-sLC0Z5m4 XIII XIII is a first-person shooter where you play as “Thirteen,” a talented soldier who lost his memory and has been accused of killing the President of the United States. You first wake up injured and amnesic on Brighton Beach with the only clue being a small key and a mysterious tattoo that reads “XIII” next to your clavicle. It’s now your job to search for answers through a 34-level solo campaign. Don’t worry, you will find the appropriate weapon arsenal along the way. So many questions… so many bullets! For now, we have that first teaser for you! XIII will be available on November 13, 2019 on PS4. Since it's the Playstation blog they don't mention other platforms, but the teaser is also available on the Nintendo Portugal Youtube channel, so it's looking to at least be a console multiplatform release. I absolutely can't wait for this, XIII is one of my favourite games just for how stylish it is in graphics, gameplay and audio. It being pulled from online stores was always a disappointment because then I couldn't recommend it to other people, now it's gonna be available again. Hopefully they can keep the original voicework, Adam West and David Duchovny are two of the best things about the game.
this game was the absolute fucking best thing ever, been fucking years and im still waiting on the fucking cliffhanger being resolved
This was an amazing game. I still have copy for the Xbox around.
they better keep a lot of shit untouched, especially the soundtrack, god the fucking soundtrack to this fucking game was amazing
I never could have expected this, but I am so hyped for it. I played the hell out of some XIII on the original Xbox. Such a unique artstyle, I hope they do well to respect it.
Oh wow that's the last game I would expect to be resurrected. I never played the original, but that art style is going to look amazing in HD, probably like how good Wind Waker HD was on the Wii U.
I hope this renews interest for a followup, to be honest.
oh man I'm hype for this. i could never get my hands on the full game when it first came out but i had the demo version, which i played repeatedly until the 2 levels on it were burned into the back of my head. can't wait to be able to finish it proper
I hope this comes to PC, I'd love to play it again
It will, apparently
Reminds me to eventually pick up the comics on ComiXology.
As long as the Comic Sans is gone.
Reminder that Thirteen was voiced by David Duchovny and General Carrington by Adam West? Holy shit! Instant buy!
It's coming to the Switch too https://www.gonintendo.com/stories/333455-xiii-remake-announced-for-switch
This game is an underappreciated masterpiece. It didn't sell well when it came out, but it is still the best spy/espionage thriller I have ever played. Much better than any Tom Clancy game will ever be. It has a special place in my heart, not only for its gameplay but because it also has the greatest unresolved cliffhanger ending of any game ever. I'm holding on to hope that this remake will convince them to finally finish the story that should have been told years ago.
It better have Hunt
Now THIS is completely unexpected. Have the Xbox copy and it was a pretty fun game from what I remember.
I played the demo of that so much back in the days, until the full version finally came on CD in a magazine. (my former primary source of games) Hyped for this, hope they dont fuck it up.
holy SHIT I am absolutely fucking hyped for this. XIII has always been a huge influence for me despite its gameplay kind of lacking. I always found it to be such a shame that it got taken down from GOG and even when I got a copy it was kind of a pain in the ass to run. XIII is a game where imo regardless of if you find the gameplay fun or not, its utterly incredible adaptation of a comic book style to 3D graphics is one that fucking deserves to be appreciated.
I remember playing the demo all over again and smashing ashtrays into bad guys, so satisfying. Also throwing knives in the face of enemies and getting those awesome comic panels showing their deaths.
Never played it, but seems interesting. Though the fact if I will depends if there will be a PC release

Holy fuck, I still have my old PS2 copy in my bookshelf, I LOVE this game so much and I'm so bummed it never got a sequel, so hopefully either this remaster wraps the story up or it opens the door for a conclusion in other ways. I am SO damn excited!
I absolutely loved this game, but I could never finish it. There was some really bizarre specific glitch with my videocard at the time that bluescreened my system at an exact specific moment in one mission. I think it was later fixed in a driver update but it took absolutely forever and I never tried the game again. The same shit happened in that god awful W40k Firewalker game - BSOD on AMD videocards at one specific moment. That shit happened a lot back then. Hope this can come to PC and just work flawlessly, I'm eager to actually play the game in its entirety now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glftUqxT8k0 Can I just highlight how the game had both IMO one of the best visual design styles ever in video games alongside one of the best soundtracks? Real fucking unsung gem.
I was so young and retarded when I played this game. I fucking loved it but it took me literally a year to figure out you had to shoot the ropes behind the big stone cross in the mansion garden chapel to get it to break the floor tiles and reveal the entry to the dungeon below. I want this remake real bad, and I want a sequel even more.
This game is one of the big reasons I love Archer.
Did anyone else love playing that multiplayer mode where you chased around death and tried to kill it? Many a long night of lan party that was. I'm excited to see how they decide to put the game together.
You caaan flyyy!
Let's hope they wont add as much bloom as Nintendo did
