How to add custom spawn icons for models to workshop? I just put it to materials and this doesn't work.
inside the materials folder create a folder called entities, and put the png or other file images in there. The Image name MUST be the same as the entitiy name.
Doesn't work. I need to upload custom spawn icons for models(to be exact GTA V accessories) not entities.
You generate/customize icons in your spawnmenu, then you go to materials/spawnicons/ and you look for the same path as the models themselves and then you must reproduce the same path in your addon and copy over the .png files.
So for example if your model is in this folder:
models/fuck/this/is/so/long/gta5model.mdl
Then your spawnicon would be in:
materials/spawnicons/models/fuck/this/is/so/long/gta5model.png
And in your addon the spawnicon must be in that exact folder

My GMod generate new icon >:(
It is possible there's a bug with the game that prevents spawnicons from loading from addons.
Probably yeah, but how I can resize the models in icons?
