Ok that was very strange.
You know those preachy religious music videos? It's like that except with environmental activism.
don't do pot or you write these lyrics.
that was their best shot huh?
this might be the worst song i've ever heard, and i actually like lil dicky
This was the best thread to click on after smoking a blunt.
This is probably the second-worst possible version of this song Dicky could've done, saved only by the fact that he doesn't joke about having a small dick.
That solo verse is astonishingly bad and the fact that the song opens proper with the phrase 'my anus is huge' tells you everything you need to know.
Lil' Jon's line gave me a good chuckle, though. But that's Lil' Jon, he's always good for that.
Lil Dicky just isn't that funny to me. And most of his songs are boring/generic musically.
Who's the target audience for this
This was the first thing to come to mind watching this..

Jesus Christ this is fucking awful
Even this message is ridiculous and the video amounts to little more than trying to get clout with the most agreeable, inoffensive message ever. Even Nike and the rest of the "woke" brands actually stood to lose something by doing what they did. A huge budget and a long list of cameos for a moral that no one would disagree with. The problem with pollution and climate change etc is staring them straight in the face.
They act like there are people out there who have some kind of vendetta against nature and humanity seemingly for its own sake. Literally anyone will tell you, "Yeah, pollution is bad", so why is there still pollution? Why is there still war? Could it be that those who do the worst of it are basically getting off scot-free because videos like this essentially shift the blame to a public who accepts the guilt for actions they haven't actually done but are powerless to change anything on an individual level? It sure is a mystery why these problems don't seem to go away no matter how much A-list celebrities grandstand about the importance of them!
"Let's all just chill" - Lil Dicky, a rich and famous rapper.
Guys whose favorite rappers are Eminem, Macklemore, Mac Miller, Logic, G-Eazy. No specific trend, though.
Feel good, fake woke bullshit.
Entire video is an advertisement to buy $60 t-shirts of Lil Dicky humping the earth.
I think you guys are missing the point that they're just trying to make this as meme-bait as possible so that the message gets spread. It's an innocent video with an innocent message. Loosen up a little.
Pretty much the majority of lil dicky's songs run on that meme magic while also being half decent as well, this is just shit but I don't think anyone's getting worked up over it lol
god how did they spend so much money on beautiful animation and get all of these high-profile features without anyone noticing how awful the song is
Even if the song is awful, it seems like a good way to get the issue into the minds of the public. With so many famous people involved and sharing a commendable message, hopefully it might help the right wing of the US accept climate change as an actual issue out of fear of losing votes.
Why in the fuck did these basic bitch lyrics require 6 people a week to write.
Holy shit.
Reminder that 71% of emissions are done by rich fucks like him
I don't think it's fair to push this issue onto a single group based on wealth. You must absolutely take action, and demand action yourself regardless of wealth.
vinny vinesauce claims lil dicky cut to the front of a line he was in at a deli
literally hitler
It's just people saying "I'm *some living thing*" with autotune. What kind of song is this?
Highlights of the song include "we love you <country>, we love you <country> we love you <continent>, we forgive you Germany," along with the implication that the listener, IE the common man, is okay with pollution and etc despite wealthy fucktards like him at the top being the ones causing most of the problems.
In the US it's important for everyone to make this a key issue, and a requirement for politicians to deal with. If it continues to be a partisan issue in the US then we are in a lot of trouble.
iirc Lil Dicky doesn't own a fortune 500 or numerous fuckoff coal plants or cow farms across the globe.
The song is cringy but it's still enjoyable for what it is. Can't hate on any degree of activism for climate change, even if it's a cameo from JB it's still getting their fans more aware which is notable in some way.
Y'all hating too much
yeah guys idk I liked it
Reminder he cuts the line at the pizza parlor.
