First they have a terrible slur (which will not be repeated here) in their song for smash, and then this?
Never buying a Nintendo product, this is beyond disgusting. I'm so sickened that i accidentally crashed into a mailbox when i read about this during a drive.
Sometimes I can't believe these chairs cost this much. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a used Aeron classic for free, and it's a pretty reliable, comfortable chair. But no way in hell would I ever in my lifetime, pay for something like this.
Is there a reason why $1500 for a damn chair?
Loads of reasons, mostly that those are chairs you buy for life and have extreme comfort and support for your body.
Average everyday wooden chair or shit desk chair is usually not going to be too great for your back.

Let me rephrase it: Is the materials truly make the chair a $1500 value? I'm aware that the ergonomics of it helps you and makes it everlasting, but what exactly makes it so expensive? Material? Branding?
Oh yeah? Well I got a high back office chair made in 1984 for $8 at a garage sale
this is the first i have seen nick "sexual harasser" robinson since he was fired from polygon
I legitimately thought that was a $40 Walmart chair. What the fuck?
He still has a popular youtube channel and tweets regularly. I think he might have a job or something, I have no idea.
Yes but there's loads of ergonomic chairs that don't cost the same amount as an appliance.
Hell, $715 is way too much let alone $1500.
Why would you ever spend that much for a chair?
Is there a chance that he's used this chair since he became president?
If I had some extra dosh laying around I would buy one. Simply because in the long run it will take care of my back better.
My workplace has some pretty expensive chairs similar to this and they're fucking amazing.
It is like some people asking why would you pay 1500 bucks for a desktop PC. 700 dollars is nothing if you use the chair everyday for hours, which in his case he likely did. I'm pretty sure he got his money's worth out of it. When you make over half-million dollars I don't think it is really a big deal.
I see him posted all the time and it's kinda weird honestly.
200$ executive chair here, I was gifted it so its not like I paid that either. I also have a chair that's 60$ that I personally paid for, a cheap office chair
The expensive one
Lacks lumbar support
Lacks a spring and buckle system for adjusting arms and back
Uses very cheap pleather material, which is a synthetic imitation of leather, and extremely low quality compared to real animal hide
Is much more comfortable than the cheaper one, and has the ability to lean back
Has massive wear and tear
A 1500$ chair in comparison has
Full lumbar and adjustable levers that can conform to 'any back'
Has a spring system that allows a much softer back rest system
has arm adjustment, available on cheap chairs, but made more effective
Full authentic leather that will last potentially decade(s) with the right care
I couldn't say myself, but from the people i've talked to who HAVE bought them, they are amazing and worth every penny. And have been since they bought it.
Holy shit Reggie has the same chair I do
Or had
I bought an Aeron new. I wouldn't say it was worth the price and on some level i wish I would have gotten one used from craigslist instead but I swear this chair made my near constant back pain go away. Every chair before it would start giving me dull aches and pains in my upper and lower back and no matter what kinda lumbar support i used or accessories I got to make them more ergonomic, shit would just kill my back and I hated sitting at my desk for the longest time. Once I realized the school I go to used Aeron's as their chairs, I decided to bite the bullet and get one. Was worth it imo, and from what I understand these chairs last years and I won't have to replace it for quite a while
If you are sitting that long in a chair and doing that much work it is wise to get something that will help prevent back problems in the future.
Plus these chairs generally last a long time with care. Most sub 200 dollar office chairs break or fall apart after a few years.
I think his documentary video on the disappearance of the "dominoes app ft. hatsune miku" video was his first major work after being fired
