Several times now, I have logged onto a server to find my team (of two... Just me and one friend) disbanded. And, I was in a different team. Oddly, both my friend and I were added to the same other players team, but no longer on each other's team.
Because team members can see each other on the map, this exposed out base locations and is a fairly serious bug. Or, it's a cheat that needs to be blocked.
How common is this? I see only a couple of other posts about it on any forum (reddit, steam, etc). Anyone else had this happen?
This can happen on some servers after a restart. To ensure you don't fall victim just make a new team each time you log back in
What happens is one of you guys died while offline and yes its stupid that it disbands you but it does, we were baffled by this for weeks before we found out what was causing it
Another cause is dying and then going offline it removes you from any teams. Bug or not it is slightly annoying but manageable to deal with
