i've got a ASUS GL702, it's less than a year old. but usually at boot up and for a bit after, it's making this constant revving noise.
got a clip of the sound, and i can't figure out what's causing it.
ignore the beep, that's just the oven

Bad bearings.
That fan's gonna go bad soon and quit working.
Get a replacement ASAP, it's only going to get worse from there.
It's less than a year old, and I've got a 2 year warranty. I'm just gonna go and RMA this bad boy. Not worth the hassle of replacing what's wrong if I can just replace the damn thing, I've got nothing of value on this laptop that I couldn't just put up on Google Drive
