I'm brand new to Gmod and was looking to make an addon that parents a player model to an NPC when the player is killed. How would I go about doing this? Thanks.
what is it with people being new to lua or even gmod, and then immidiatley starting with super complex stuff..?
TBH I am not even sure if changing a NPCs model to a player model is possible.
i am not aware of any hook/function/feature that could support this,
not every playermodel also has a NPC model, and you cant apply a playermodel on an NPC, as well as you are not able applying a NPC model to an player. It will be a T Pose.
since you are completley new, just start with simple stuff first...like a HUD, or maybe some simple entities. Starting with something like this in the very beginning, beggs to result in failing (and also you making alot of threads to ask questions of very simple problems)
