be happy about it. When i saw the title i thought its gonna be one of those shitty "i claim to spend 24 hours but in reality just spend 20 minutes" clickbait videos.

I'm seeing a lot of these "X hours in VR!!" videos recently. This one is pretty cool, but I think the novelty of it all sort of dies when you find out that people have been doing this in VRChat for the longest of times. There are bedroom or just generally dimly lit maps with calming music designed for this sort of thing. People just go to sleep with their friends, wake up and carry on playing.
Still its something quite different.

Yeah, I share that opinion but its still something that quite a bunch of people do. I can't fall asleep even with earbuds on, but I've actually spoken to a guy who bought full body tracking just for that - so it would look better in VR.
I guess you can think of it like a super awkward/lonely thing or as something wholesome/cute - friends from all over the world having a slumber party because they otherwise couldn't.
Indeed. Often times the only chance I get to get on VRC is later in the night and because of that I'm exhausted and if I'm just chilling with friends, sometimes conk out. Falling asleep in VR is a pretty common experience among heavy VR players. It's not some unique, special experience. It's not that weird, and it doesn't feel all that strange, waking up in VR isn't that jarring. Infact, the most consistent part about it that's out of the ordinary is the fact I always wake up with my face hurting because I rolled over and pushed my rift into my face, usually my neck too from weird sleeping positions.

I;m not sure why it's getting dumbed to hell and back. Editing was obnoxious at times but it sort of gabe a comedic "this is made out to be way more amazing than it really is" feel
