As you can tell by the title, I am wondering if it is possible to put wind in Half-life 2.

As you can see some new maps uploaded on workshop have this. For example Union City, which is by far in my opinion, one of my favorite and most realistic maps, expect the scale is a bit big. But that's not the case, it's the trees/foliage and I'm here to talk about.

Now I'm wondering if we can update Half-life 2 Trees/foliage with a more high poly models, possible from STALKER or some other game set in Europe.
There already have been some ports on to the workshop to make this easy.

I'm just tired by just how dead it feels at some points of the game, and it doesn't keep me to look around and explore it just makes me want to get out of the now boring area, and hearing Breen, and the Cityscanners doesn't cut it, it makes me go crazy

.Hope the same can be done for Episode 1 and 2, most of the time you're in a forest.
You sure love posting a lot of pictures for the simplest things.
I hate explaining things, If I loved writing, I'd write things with more pages than a dictionary.

As for the answer to your question, the engine on which HL2 runs would have to be updated to the version that supports $treesway. Right now the simplest thing you could do is just play the HL2 campaign through GMod with modded textures that would enable treesway on HL2 models. It's really easy, you could write up those parameters yourself with the simplest text editor and fine-tune them for the best result. It's really easy, I've done it before.
Oh yes I plan to play this on Gmod, sorry my mistake. If I do have the time to make this possible I'll just post what I have on here.
