ya fuckers call pizza joints fast food? we just call 'em pizza.
I unironically almost completely agree with this list. Pretty accurate to someone who has lived west coast to mid west. only difference being the papa johns but that's just personal preference.
Fast Food IMO is about a philosophy, namely the focus being put on speed and cost over everything else, and Domino's and Pizza Hut definitely fit that. If I was getting a pizza from them I'd call it fast food, if I was getting it from a local pizza place I'd say I was getting pizza.
I wish he would actually justify his littl' c's ranking other than a sick ass beat boxing video. Almost everyone I know thinks it's really medicore pizza, and it is, but damn you can't beat an entire pizzas for $5. Also disagree w/ the arby's ranking. Arby's rules.
Fuck this kid! Dominos is best pizza.
Dominios is definately higher than E tier, Pizza Hut is too high at B tier. Dominions is definately a firm C-D tier simply because of their variety. You can get pretty decent subs, pasta, and fairly okay chain store pizza. Lots of customization with it. Pizza Hut no matter where I've had it as always tasted just off. The sauce is too sweet, the crust, cheese, and meats are just completely different some how than anything I've ever eaten. Pizza Hut ranks a solid E tier simply because of lack of variety and bland taste. Chic-Fila-A is A tier, food is amazing and service is great. Wendy's is a C tier for me, never had a good experience with them ever. McDonalds is a B tier, some of their signature crafted burgers have been great, but it's still McDonalds. He's not wrong with Taco Bell, there is not other trash food place like it and the Baja Blast is just amazing.
Burger rankings are one of my favorite things, because people get so fuckin' heated about it. The trinity of burger places looks like this to me: Wendy's >>> Burger King > McDonald's No contest, Wendy's has the best burgers and best fries out of that whole list. Plus McDonald's always gives me a stomach ache. The trinity of regional burger places looks like this: Five Guys > In-n-Out >>> Whataburger Five Guys and In-n-Out are pretty close to each other in my mind, but Whataburger is just okay. I'd maybe put it between Wendy's and BK on the first list when it comes to standard burgers, while Five Guys and In-n-Out are above them all.
Taco bell is S tier, fight me.
I always wonder if Dominos is just trash in USA. We got it a year ago in the part I live in Norway, and it's pretty fucking good.
Burger King gets a C for me because of that bomb ass Buffalo Wing Sauce and it definitely improves the flavor of their burgers. Plus their best burger is their Sourdough King, with the sauce added to it ofc. In-And-Out is more of a D as well because while their fries are nice their burgers (from what I can vaguely remember) were alright in general. Jack In The Box should definitely be a B though because their food is so damn good. Wendy's should also go to an A because their burgers are some of the best I've had when it comes to burger joints. Also Subway at the very least should be a C tier, fight me.
I work at BK and while I always thought their burgers and fries were better than McDonald's, the Sourdough King is one of my least favorite. That bread just doesn't really work so well, it's too dry, and that sauce is take it or leave it. (It's a tomato pesto sauce, that sandwich was meant to be an LTO but for some reason it's still being sold and still listed as a LTO like a year later.) Right now they got the Angry Whopper back though so you can get Jalapenos added to anything and that's always nice. They didn't bring back the pepperjack cheese and the spicy pepper sauce this time and I'm unhappy about that. Wendy's has better burgers but their fries aren't great. He's entirely correct in Five Guys being top tier, however. Both their burgers and fries are to die for. Get the Cajun fries. Also get the free peanuts.
I legitimately think the double angry whopper is a fantastic burger I could eat one at anypoint in time. would not get old
Little Caesars and Domino's pizza are flipped here. LC uses low quality toppings from basically cans, while D's is just a notch under Pizzahut in quality. Pizza Hut > Domino's > Little Caesars > fuck papa johns
I think most of the big name pizza places are pretty middle tier, acceptable when I want to order pizza and not pay out the ass but not super amazing. Little Caesars is garbage though, there's a reason they can sell that shit so cheap.
It's important to remember that the quality of the food at a fast food place can vary wildly depending on where you are. Over here McDonalds is a pretty good place to get a burger, when I was in Florida 13 years ago the McDonalds was fucking trash, and my family who went this year say it's the same now as it was then. Around where I live Dominoes would be a C at best while Pizza Hut is easily a B, verging on an A TBH. Though around here aside from the international names you just get chippers (which are rarely good, and for some reason only the shit ones survive), independent pizza places (which are 50% grease, 50% trash, and 100% not worth bothering), and Chinese/Indian places which are generally pretty good (lumped these together as most Chinese places have a small Indian section and most Indian places have a small Chinese section).
Five Guys is SS tier tbh.
It varies wildly. In Denmark we had a Domino's that basically ignored Health and Safety standards and went bankrupt soon after getting exposed on national TV.
Maybe I'm a bit biased cuz I work for dominos but I've never had a pizza hut delivery that was anywhere close to warm. I've enjoyed their pizza at the airports when I get it nice and hot in a solo size, but I keep getting like 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait times with no warning with pizzahut.
Ok Five Guys how about you guys send your franchise this way? In my local server this tier list is wack. Wendy's dead on arrival, McD dominates despite being shit, KFC is favorite, Subway is actually decent, Burger King is great, Carls Jr is a scam, and Pizza Hut is almost on par with Domino's because we don't have much Pizza options here. The rest is non-existent.
For me the Buffalo Sauce is so good I actually collect them cause BK won't fucking releasing it in stores like Taco Bell did with theirs and I feel like it really makes the flavoring of other foods so good. Though for the SDK I've never really had a problem with it .
For Burgers: Five Guys=Fatburger > Wendy's > Carl's Jr > Mcdonalds = Burger King No idea about: DQ, Jack in the Box and In-n-Out Burgers For Chicken: Popeyes > Wendy's < Burgerking < Mcdonalds < KFC No idea about: All other stores that serve chicken not listed here For Pizza: I'll be real with y'all, I''ve always been a Dominoes boy, my local store gives me good pizza at a low ass price and it's a steal thanks to my bonds with the management so Dominoes > Pizza Pizza/Pizza 73 > Little Caesars > Pizza Hut >>>>>>>>>>>>> Subway Pizza Subs Generally i disagree with his list and i really like DQ's dairy products like the blizzard cakes.
I always get a toasted meatball with cheese and jalapenos, and it's amazing.
I'm gonna get shit for this but I've been into a Five Guys over here, they're nice but I don't get all the shit people have about their "fries". They're just chips, literally, I can get the same shit from my local chip shop. Those made to order burgers though, amazing. Also Donut Op did one as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLoBnqpYk1E
I feel back for anyone who has not been able to experience a Chick-fil-A. It being only B tier is a crime against humanity.
lol little caesars at A tier that trash belongs in F tier come on edubs
This tier list is absolutely not canon, if only for the fact that it comes from a west coast point-of-view.
where the fuck is the SS Schutzstaffel tier whataburger? https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/EQrWrpph2N3a1uC_-UXU6_FyXfs=/0x0:2048x1365/1200x800/filters:focal(866x583:1192x909)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/56949297/whataburger_burger.0.0.jpg
There's a "Dairy Queen Grill & Chill" in my area, which is I guess the fast food version of DQ that does burgers. I would say that Dairy Queen's burgers are at a bare minimum 500 times better than Burger King's. I was pretty shocked when I went because I didn't know what to expect. They have a lot more in common with Sonic burgers than anything else.
As a Polish guy I've never tried Five Guys since it isn't available here and I have no idea what makes it special since it looks generic, any American willing to say what the hype's about?
