What timing given today's Capcom Publisher Sale on Steam. You can get the Lost Planet games for cheap, though i've still not bought 2 mostly because of the co-op focus and the GFWL shit (even if you can patch it).
Lost planet 1, when it first came out, was one of my favorite games. The mechs were cool, the fights we're cool, the world was cool. Then lost planet 2 came out and just... Wasn't any of that.
LP2 co-op was the coolest shit. It was basically monster hunter with guns and mechs. I really wish they would try again to refine it.
Hows the pc port of lost planet 1? It's 2 eur right now and if bought it I wouldn't have to constantly borrow my brothers ps3 copy
Yeah i remember playing Lost planet 1 when it came out, it was a ton of fun. My friends and i tried playing 2 but we got stuck at a part and never made it past it. Never played 3 tho.
I remember it working pretty well. Maybe some issues with dx10.
I remember looking at Lost Planet for PC and knowing that I would have to upgrade my computer if I ever wanted to play it, the way the snow deforms as you walk over impressed the absolute fuck out of me when I was younger, I remember physics in general doing that, PhysX too.
