https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/26/us/colorado-lakewood-i-70-fiery-crash/index.html This is right by the in-law's house! It was a 28 vehicle fireball. 4 confirmed dead. The driver had plenty of "runaway truck" pull-offs coming down the mountain so even if he tries to plead vehicle malfunction, he's still on the hook for manslaughter.
Too many dipshits who don't understand how dangerous driving through the mountains is, this includes both regular commuters and commercial truckers. I drive up to Summit county taking I-70 all the time and the smell of burning brakes is all too common.
That's a helluvaway to go
So this will fuck you up, so fair warning. Someone was live streaming when it happened. https://youtu.be/LmfKN3hT05c?t=464
I got stuck in I-70 traffic this morning; was bitching to myself about how some dumbass probably rear ended somebody. Felt pretty bad about that when I finally drove by the scorched vehicles.
He should be on the hook for manslaughter. Look at that fucking carnage. Watching that live stream you can see how fucking fast he was barreling by. Absolutely inexcusable, he is 100% responsible for those lives lost.
This apparently happened minutes after I drove by there, Jesus.
Too many dipshits dont know how dangerous driving in general is. Now I got PTSD due to a car crash a few years back which makes it difficult for me to drive now even in slow speeds because people want to fuck around and play on their phones or drive fast and recklessly to save themselves a minute or two or to act cool.
I ride a scooter, so I treat drivers as children and children as sea mines.
Fully Autonomous driving cannot come soon enough. The idea of finally driving home from your shit job, only to die/get maimed due to someone else's negligence/impatience is absolutely horrifying.
