I can't remember the name of this film, please help me.

All I remember about watching this film that I saw very briefly in a Intro to Film class, was that there was an opening with some children playing charades. Then afterwards there was a long shot of two people walking down a sidewalk which ends in one of them getting into a fight with a stranger on the street because he threw trash at a woman.

I think it had the word "code" or something in it, I seriously cannot remember the name.
