Title.
then don't delete it. What are you trying to achieve?
i could never imagine that deleting the entity the player of the video game controls would result in a game crash, what a revolutionary! either don't make shitty code that would lead this to happen or use SafeRemoveEntity
answer
Why are you trying to remove the player entity
How the fuck are you even managing to delete the player entity? You're really not even supposed to be able to do that, it was patched out ages ago IIRC. (correct me if I'm wrong, I tried every way possible to remove myself in singleplayer and nothing was happening)
This is intended behavior. Literally every Source Engine game does this. ent_fire in multiplayer servers
Still can't get it to work. ent_fire does literally nothing on my dedicated server even with sv_cheats on, both executed from the server console (direct input to SRCDS, not rcon) and from my player console. I didn't try just a listen server, though. I tried to do Entity/Fire since it does similar and you literally can't kill players/world with it, if you try, it just spits out this in SRCDS: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/2014/47ec3d0c-4498-4b48-a9cf-752d238d7d03/unknown-2.png So I really still have no idea how he's managing to do this.
You guys are a bunch of tards, clearly this guy it's reaching the extreme optimization endpoint, deleting the player!
Deleting a player doesn't result in a crash always. If you just remove the player object, I get to watch a game of Vector(0, 0, 0) with Angle(0, 0, 0)
i think your swep might be too op
