https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/apr/28/tent-city-migrants-el-paso-texas The main frames of two large tents popped up last week. They are expected to hold up to 500 migrants amid a level of chaos at the border that has unfolded under the Trump administration’s immigration policies. Construction crews are now working to prepare the interior of the shelter, which is expected to be operational by 1 May, even as the president downplayed conditions in which migrants are held and appeared once again to support the separation of families crossing the border. He added to the host, Maria Bartiromo: “We go out and we stop the separation. The problem is you have 10 times more people coming up with their families, it’s like Disneyland now.”
these are supposedly only temporary processing centers, the people should not be detained there long but obviously temporarily housing anyone for any period of time in a big plastic structure in the texas sun has a very bad problem with heat.
Tent city huh. hmnn. one might even call it a...camp...for minorities...and internment thereof...hmnnn....
I've been to Disney World. It was nothing like that
Honestly I have nothing left to say about any of this. He and his supporters have turned this country into everything we fought so hard not to be. I'm gonna save up my money, try to learn a new language, and figure out how to leave. Fuck you annoying orange.
Never been to a tent city, but I can safely bet it ain’t Disney. El Presidenté Naranja is a delusional pig, as usual.
Dude, Trump will fuckinexcuse and say Hitler was right sooner or later, he just doesn't cares anymore about it
Are you guys seriously telling me that guy who charged me $200 for Disneyland tickets and then escorted me to a refugee camp was a scammer?
The whole world is just as insane and hopeless as the US is. No place is safe. Good luck though. I wish I could do the same.
Didn't the Nazi's say that they were giving Jews fun things to do in concentration camps as well?
He's saying the internment camps are crowded with families like Disneyland on a busy day. He is not comparing the quality of the camps to Disneyland
No, he's saying people are entering the US with their families "like Disneyland", with the implication they're coming to the US for shits-n-giggles, which is most definitely not the case.
