did you even check the console to see the error? otherwise you wont know if it is related to the model or not.

Ofc, if author give me permission to use his addon (or I don't need?).
You should get a permission for using someones stuff, just so creator cant report your addon for using his parts without permission. It happends not really much, but it would be appreciated.
