I've been looking for a way to mass compress a lot of VTF's down to a max resolution of 1024x1024 and changing the format to RGBA8888.
I've currently been using the batch convert tool from VTFEdit, but it's not really a quick or easy process (Having to convert to JPG, then mass resizing/compressing the images and then converting back to VTF which is very slow).
I feel like I'm missing something pretty obvious, but I can't find a easier way to do this?
VIDE might be capable of what you're looking for:

Didn't even think of VIDE, it's faster but seems to lacks the option to clamp resolution?
