I had never thought about it, but having a meta launcher would help a lot with me straight up forgetting I own games on some other client. Might give PlayNite a try.
I've never had a problem with managing all my games across all the clients, but I do like the look of PlayNite. It'd be cool if it had support to view all the storefronts and the deals going on.
I legit started a fucking spreadsheet with all my games on it just so I can tell where I own everything.
I'm not sure if I'd really use anything like this, though maybe if it just worked and didn't require tons of faffing about I might. Also nice choice of outro/Q&A music on this one. NFS Porsche Unleashed 👌
I need a doc with all the passwords of all the shit I got or I'll lose entire accounts of stuff.
I lost my old 360 account because I don't know the password to the email I used for it. I had a lot of shit on that account.
I know the feeling. Recently lost my battlenet account because formating my PC disabled the authorization I previously had, and none of the authenticators work anymore, because the cellphone number doesn't exists anymore whatsoever, and the app was wiped. Now it requires real ID to make sure I am the owner of my account, which doesn't matches the fake name I put because "why do you need my real name?...", despite setting up other security measures. Only had a few games there, but it still burned.
I lost my battle.net account which had a full retail copy of Starcraft 2 on it because I couldn't remember what the fuck it was for jack shit. Thankfully I suck astronomical ass at starcraft anyway so whatever.
