It started a while ago.
A bit late to the viewing party - 10 seconds in and Graham is presenting typical defensive theatrics
Holy shit Barr becomes a nervous wreck when the Democrats are asking him stuff.
Barr is getting through this by just skirting the boundaries of lying by going full legal jargon and misleading with his answers. The reason he is probably terrified of going to the House tomorrow and being questioned by actual lawyers is that they will be able to ask questions in a way that he won't be able to do that.
Segue from Clinton investigation to ... "It's a witch hunt!" ... pivot back
No kidding. Pathetic to see anyone try to do the "I don't remember" / "Not that I am aware of" bullshit.
He can't remember stuff that happened less than 24 hours ago.
Hillary Clinton has nothing to do with any of this and they just keep bringing it up.
How great would it be if she just walked in and took a seat in the back as a visitor? How much would they squirm?
I would've invited her to the hearing exactly for this.
I wouldn’t since she’d probably find a way to even screw that up for everyone else, just like everything else she touches.

Does anyone find it strange how they give journalists time to capture the shots for their papers before the hearing start?
I mean I get what they doin but its just weird

"I don't even know what I ate for breakfast this morning." - William Barr probably
...
But remember guys! Trump lives rent free in liberals' heads!
It's been happening for decades and as a photographer it is very nice of them to allow it. Though I'm sure it's a bit uncomfortable for the person in the seat.
oh poor barr : (
That exchange between Barr and Harris was devastating.
To paraphrase, it was basically this:
KH: "Did you or Rosenstein or anyone in your executive office review the underlying evidence before making your summary about the Mueller Report?"
B: "No."
KH: "So then how did you come to the conclusion that 'the underlying evidence clears the President'."
B: "Well, we trusted what Mueller wrote."
KH: "So you didn't look at the underlying evidence but you wrote that 'the underlying evidence clears the President'?"
B: "Sure, but..."
KH: "If somebody came to you saying 'here's my report' would you just accept that what was in the report was correct and base your judgment on whether to charge people with crimes based exactly on what the Report 'told you to conclude'?"
B: "There's a process to these things. Lower folks pass the report up and then the executives make decisions. Look, I wasn't the only one involved in this decision, Rosenstein was too!"
KH: "Good point. Was he cleared to be ethically capable of making such a decision?"
B: "Wh-what?"
KH: "Did the Ethics Office clear him to make a judgment call on an investigation he was a witness for?"
B: "H-he was the DAG though and he was cleared to oversee the Mueller probe s-"
KH: "Did the Ethics Office clear him to make a judgment call on the investigation he was a witness for? Did you ask the Ethics Office to clear him for this incredibly flagrant and obvious conflict of interest?"
B: "I just assumed-"
KH: "Yes, we've gathered. That's my time. Thank you."
Normal people would be fired for things like this.
How did Comey put it? "[...] was extremely careless and negligent"? I believe that was the standard the Republicans and Trump set for 'should put you in jail' right?
"Did anyone make a memo of that phone call?"
"Yes"
"May we have it?"
"No"
"Why?"
"...................... Why should you?"
Because congress is responsible for you, you absolute motherfucker.
Man, the house and their lawyers are going to tear this fuckboy a new one.
Damn, completely missed the stream, but I am 57 minutes in and holy shit.
Firing investigators or telling them what not to do and even instructing them to lie when you're the one being investigated is perfectly fine, because it is not a crime. It would only become a crime if you were to tamper with the actual evidence. Fucking galaxy brain right there, Barr.
Aha, someone's clipped the Kamala Harris section. If y'all want to watch it yourselves:

So it's clearly not over then? Can they arrest Graham for lying?
As someone in South Carolina, I wish so goddamn much.
If he's shitting himself like this now, imagine against actual lawyers, I'm grabbing my pop-corn.
First question out of her mouth and Barr can't even give a straight answer. How very fitting.
