It doesn't come with a strap and you have to hold it to your face. Virtual Boy lives on!
The virtualboy doesn't have a strap because you don't want to strap it to your face

It's not great, I've only had a chance to try a little bit of Odyssey but I was quite disappointed with Nintendo's first foray into VR. I went in fundamentally understanding that the Labo VR set is a toy first and foremost, and that the minigames attached to it are the real meat of the purchase. BOTW and Odyssey receiving free VR updates are just a bonus.
Still. The fact they did it at all had me thinking they figured out some way to make actually playing those games on such a restricted headset viable. I honestly cannot imagine playing more than like, twenty minutes at most.
It just makes me wonder what the next Nintendo attempt at VR will be, because it's clear that there's no real future with the Labo VR set. I worry that Nintendo won't properly venture into VR until they release a console that centers entirely around it - which I could actually see them doing one day.
