The Cambodian Genocide is politically incorrect. Prove me wrong.

Summary of this event:
The Khmer Rouge took control of the Cambodian government in 1975, with the goal of turning the country into a communist agrarian utopia. In reality, they emptied the cities and evacuated millions of people to labor camps where they were starved and abused.
Doctors, teachers and other educated people, as well as monks, the rich, and anyone perceived to be in opposition were tortured and killed.
It is estimated that between 1.7 and 2 million Cambodians died during the 4 year reign of the Khmer Rouge, with little to no outcry from the international community.
Yes.
Its strange that this event gets virtually no historical or international attention. Cambodia is not some heavyweight country that can push a narrative like Turkey or Russia can for their past crimes.
Exactly that's why I posted this because it's really fucked up how it isn't brought to anyone's attention. I know people who escaped to Thailand and got on a plane to the U.S. during this time in real life so I thought I might just bring this to everyone's attention.
Yeah I've heard of this, the plan was to reset to "Year 0" or something effectively right?
I mean, it has a wikipedia page. So it isn't as if its never been discussed or was forgotten about.
I'm not sure what anyone here is going to do with the information, however.
That was the name of the attack that "The Khmer Rouge" did Cambodians and they did it silently as planned but I want it to be known.
