A spambot retard made a thread with this title but I was disappointed to find out it was spam so here's the real deal, engrish title and all. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110359/6b865e39-45eb-4439-a952-e74ff8a844da/image.png I picked up a cinema poster for this movie for $8 over 10 years ago and never got around to actually watching it until I happened across a copy on LaserDisc. Really stupid movie but I loved it.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. First, that fucking soundtrack. I love basically anything that mashes up heavy-metal guitars and a classical symphony, and the soundtrack alone is about an hour of that, composed by Nobuo motherfucking Uematsu. Then, the fight scenes. They are gloriously over-the-top. It makes no physical sense but everything is so cool that you don't care. By the end of it, they're chucking skyscrapers at each other as a distraction. It's stupid and dumb and I fucking love every minute of it. There's bad bits. Even the Japanese voiceacting is bland and directionless. The story makes no sense without at least passing familiarity with the game, and honestly, still doesn't make perfect sense if you played it. The CGI is getting kind of dated. The pacing is all over the place. There's not really any emotional depth. But fuck that, it's still worth watching if you have any interest in motorcycle swordfights.

Resident Evil: Degeneration, Damnation and Vendetta. The CGI resident evil movies are fucking baller. Like, insane. Like I'm having a fever dream but having fun doing it. Somehow the over-the-top convolution of the resi5/6 era story makes a really good premise for dumb anime-inspired action movies. Seriously. Look at this shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEaHrzR26W8 This type of schlock is rare.
That sound editing is so shit.
Battlefield Earth https://youtu.be/rw8RVcUyma0 it is by no means in "So bad, it's good" territory for me, it is outright abysmal in terms of quality. What I love about it is how much of an absolute shit show it is. Annoying camera angles, shallow storytelling, how the plot plays out in the end (cavemen and fighter jets, you'll have to see it for yourself) John Travolta's burning pride for that film even though it sank faster than the Titanic, wonky special effects, and the metaphorical lead shackles it clamped to its own cast's careers. I think the only one to survive this movie was Forest Whitaker.
I will always treasure the splendid nonsense that is Vendetta. https://youtu.be/-GpXUrmSbkY Can John Wick 3 ever hope to be able to match two guys scooting around in circles on the floor missing each other with submachine guns?
Or plot holes so massive you can drive an 18-wheeler through them. Battlefield Earth is...special.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qolk_rDA9xU Self Explanatory, the movie is silly as hell.

Cobra Black Rain
I would say Kung Pow, but "secretly" would be inaccurate. I publicly love that movie.

Freddy Got Fingered
I love American Ultra. Essentially Jesse Eisenberg is Super Jason Bourne. Such a great, stupid movie.
I unironically like "The Adventures of Pluto Nash". :s
Hackers A movie so cheesy and 90s that i love it. https://www.pastposters.com/cw3/assets/product_expanded/JamieR/hackers-cinema-quad-movie-poster-(3).jpg Look at how amazingly dumb that poster is.
The remake from a few years back is actually one of my favourite action movies ever but the original looks very silly.

Equilibrium is pretty high up there. Makes barely any effort at all to maintain its whole "no emotions" quirk as all the villains are hamming it up all the time, and the action is so absurd and nonsensical, but i love it all the same.
Robot Jox and Robot Wars. Two cheesy movies about mechs from the 90s. Love watching them, they always make me wish that there was a Battletech movie. I always got a sort of Battletech vibe from them. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1808/b6469cff-cacc-489a-b14e-58f38f0ee7dc/51rup9r86xL.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1808/1fd223f2-874e-4dcf-8cf8-06ad394150d7/robotwarswrap.jpg
The Fifth Element. Goofy as fuck movie but also very creative and artistic with lots of good shots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnozDdpaFik
Because of that movie I still want William Fichtner as the gman in the unlikely Half-Life movie.
ARE YOU TOYING WITH ME CLERIC >:|
Hey whoa, Fifth Element is actually objectively great.
