• chrome over brightens in garrys mod

If you mean their brighter than other props you can just colour them a darker colour with the colour tool.

When i do soft lamp renders it grabs the chrome off of it and puts it in the picture. And because of all the renders i do it just stacks chrome over more chrome and makes it brutally chrome. It makes it less brutal when i darken the fill renders but i want it to be a bright environment so it does not look too dark. In the 8th want to post a picture but don't want to make a thread on the bottom of page 28 which gave my inspiration to post this thread. Orion was talking about how bright the chrome was but eventually managed to fix it. I just need to find a way to help with the chrome. and also sorry this is very long.
It's speculars, type mat_specular 0 in console to disable them
