Further proof that republicans do not care in the slightest about the actual values this country was built upon, and would turn it into a monarchy or a dictatorship if they had the opportunity to do so. Hell, I'd argue that the entirety of Trump's time in office has been an effort to lay the groundwork for just that sort of thing. If the Republicans get their way, we probably won't be actually voting in a decade or two. At most it'll be like Russia, just a giant rigged sham while the party puts whoever they choose into power.

Yeah, if you aren't single-handedly fixing the parts of the system that allow corruption to spring up in U.S. government, what are you even doing with your life? It's so easy. Just destroy all the special interest groups that buy senators and lawmakers, remove elected and appointed officials from their positions and replace them with politicians who are more sympathetic to causes you believe in, and fix the systematic issues which caused their rise to power in the first place.
