Gaza conflict: Rocket barrage and Israeli strikes intensify

Summary: 600+ rockets fired from the Gaza Strip throughout the weekend, most of them were intercepted by the Iron Dome but some managed to get through. Israeli forces have hit 260 targets in the Gaza Strip in return. 3 Israelis dead, 3 more injured. 9 Palestinians dead, including a mother and her child that Hamas says were killed by an Israeli airstrike, but Israel counters that a failed rocket launch was what killed them. The IDF also claims that a Hamas commander, Hamed Hamdan al-Khodari, was killed in one of their strikes.

they know that israel doesnt want to escalate this one due to independence day and eurovision coming around soon, so they figured they will cave in to their demands

they do this every time, but what is concerning is that, on average, the rate of missiles launched this time is almost 300% of what it was during the entirety of operation protective edge, so this is probably gonna get ugly pretty quick

it isnt clear how temporary it is yet, but i guess the rocket launches have stopped - which is all that matters
