This thing causes Issues with the game.
Things like you cant reload no weapons.. well i mean you can, but only M92, Bolt and Bows, not even Crossbow.
It also makes you sprint slower (tested with mates - even if i started sprinting like a second before them, they passed me )..
Had this problems after Steam Client decided to force the installing of that..
After i deleted that "shiat" everything turned normal..
Update, again i have that issue, might be not that Steamworks Common Redistributables what caused it, so still cant reload weapons and sprint slow...

It is Steamworks Common Redistributables.
So when i restarted Steam, i didnt noticed, that it was installed again, so Steam is forcing this..
Now i will try to verify Steamworks Common Redistributables an after that i'll reinstall Rust..
I can't imagine how Steamworks redistributables would prevent Rust from letting you sprint or reload weapons. There is clearly something else going on.
Redistributables are software packages that keep your system updated as needed. Deleting them will probably cause Steam to replace them, because it downloaded them on purpose.
What are your computer's specs? CPU, GPU, RAM
Well i played like 500 hours on Rust, without having any issues, with the same PC i have the issues now, since got Steamworks on it..
Intel I7 870 @ 4ghz
GeForce 970 GTX 4GB
24GB DDR3-1600
Rust has been using Steamworks before now...
hmm funny thing is, i recently deactivated Discord Overlay and activated it again.. since then its working
