It's kind of like Dwarf Fortress. Even if you design the perfect fort having everything work flawlessly gets old after a while so the management makes it so that a randomly amusing specimen "escapes" to keep things interesting for everyone.
It's not. Basically a Russian contributor betrayed the community. Thankfully some other Russian administrators are taking legal action. There's no way he can keep the trademark.
