Former WH counsel Don McGahn won't comply with congressional subpoena

Former White House Counsel Don McGahn will not comply with a congressional subpoena for documents related to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, after the White House
instructed him not to abide by House Democrats' demands.

Current White House counsel Pat Cipollone told McGahn's attorney that the White House provided McGahn documents related to the Mueller probe but retains control of the material.

“The White House records remain legally protected from disclosure under longstanding constitutional principle, because they implicate significant executive branch confidentiality
interests and executive privilege,” Cipollone’s letter stated.

The House Judiciary Committee gave McGahn a Tuesday deadline to turn over the documents. Trump earlier in May said he didn’t want McGahn to testify before Congress.

Looks like more criminal charges. But remember guys, no collusion, he didn't do anything wrong but no you can't see the evidence, why would you need that? Just trust us. We know best.

Like any of it matters when it all has to run through the Executive branch anyway and the guys at the top are the ones in hot water here. I don't think they're going to volunteer themselves to be punished. It's just about time to use that there second amendment, for realsies
