hard-hitting proposed questions from senate republicans include "have you seen my car keys" and "who's your favorite member of westlife"
I'm not. They're gonna make a dog-and-pony show of it and try to skew proceedings in such a way as to portray the family as being squeaky clean.
Maybe half ass some questions to him that doesnt allow him to actually incriminate himself so he can refuse to "testify again" when it actually matters?
it's literally just gonna be filler and they get him to deny a few things so they can be like "see??? he denied it, and he's 100% telling the truth, probably!"
Yeah that sounds about right. And we can't forget asking him point blank 'Did your father ever collude with the Russians or obstruct justice?', to which he'll reply 'No' or 'Not that I can recall'.
"Mr Trump jr, did you do anything wrong?"
"no."
"Ok that's good enough for me!"
More like
"Did you do anything wrong?"
"Uhhhhhhhhm….."
"just say no damn it!..."
"Uh... No?"
"There! He said it! See?"
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise."
"Well that settles it then. This man isn't guilty."
Memeing aside, reading up on this on AP it sounds like at least some of the GOP would rather just call everything case closed.

Plus it's not like the Dems on the committee aren't going to get to ask questions. Kamala Harris is going to tear Jr. a new asshole.
AOC is going to have some great questions if she gets a chance
AOC is house though...
Is there any way for house members or even outside lawyers to ask questions at all though?
I guess its all 100% senate and I'm just misunderstanding things
