Been around them a few times in my teenage years, and yeah they give way too many bad vibes when you are near them. Saying it feels like you are constantly watched would be an understatement.

Most of what this guy talks about is warped versions of local myths and then just some nutty shit I've never heard of.
It's a shame because the real stories of this mountain are a whole lot more intriguing than this paranormal crap. I've hiked all around this area (alone) and there's nothing spooky to report. What gets people killed most of the time is going off trail, and being naive about the brutality of this desert. You get lost in the summertime looking for the Lost Dutchman's Mine without enough water, you can be dead within a few hours. They found a mummified body of one of these individuals some years back wedged in a cliff crack. As far as a force of nature, this place is no joke.
What IS spooky is the fact a plane slammed into the Hoodoos on top of the mountain killing everyone on board, and as you hike up the trail to get to Flat Iron you're still staring at some of the plane parts littered across the mountain.
Anyway I'd highly recommend reading up on the real written history of this place as it's a whole lot more interesting.
