Honestly that was a pretty good trailer lol.
Remember back in 2009 how people were saying that Borderlands was looking like a poor man's Rage? And then two years later it turned out Rage was a poor man's Borderlands? Yeah, I'm not shocked the sequel has almost nothing in common with the original game.
Oh boy Rage 1, I remember struggling to play it because AMD gpus (and to some extent even Nvidia GPUs) had some nasty issues with Id Tech 5.

They managed to fix it almost a month later, but even after that, what remained was a good game with solid core mechanics but a total lack of soul and world design.
Rage 2 feels like the way this game was meant to be and i'm actually hyped to play it, and i seriously can't believe it, if someone told me 3 or 4 years ago that Rage would get a sequel i'd probably laugh in their faces.
The game looks pretty fun tbh, can't wait to play it

Hey I'm not afraid to say I like a nice ass, but seeing bare ass just kinda casually hanging out like that in a game like this is still a little weird.
Granted, this was ages ago, but some people were legitimately excited for Rage just because it was an id Software game. The early tech demos probably helped too. Meanwhile Borderlands was being made by Gearbox, which even then was viewed as a significantly lower tier studio by some gamers, and thus it had comparatively little hype in certain circles until it actually released. And then Rage came out after nearly half a decade and turned out to be a massive disappointment.
I mean, id Software still a higher tier developer overall than Gearbox, and it's not even close. Rage is such an outlier in their company's catalog. It's hardly the worst thing ever, but coming from such a legendary developer, it was shocking how disappointing it was.

It threw me off when I heard him during one of the first trailers but unsurprisingly he fits well with a comedic protagonist.
I'm dreading this aswell, if it is then I don't know if I want to play as female Walker, I can't stand listening to Laura Bailey anymore, her voice irritates me.
There's only a few instances where I can stand listening to her, Serana from Skyrim, the boss from Saints Row IV (Not 3 because 3 had the Russian voice) and there's probably one or two others, but hearing her voice pop up on random characters or named ones, I can hear her a mile off, someone starts talking and I'm like, "Oh for fuck...here she is again."

Some of these character designs look more like Quake than Quake Champions.
