Is Ghost Recon still a psuedo mil-sim? That trailer made it seem like a high octane shooter.
Why is this so generic and edgy, jesus christ
Can we just have another GRAW instead of this edgy games as a service garbage?
Way to waste The Punisher just as fucking much as his own show did...
Dan Bilzerian got his own game now, cool I guess??

gotta post the gameplay too op
Why are we still hearing the THWOOOOMP THWOOOOOMP
You could title this
"The Division 2: New DLC Preview" or "Wildlands: Season Pass Trailer"
and I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference, what an absolutely boring showing, guess thats why they went ahead and put it out before E3
Most gameplay trailers usually try to not look scripted. This couldn't have looked more scripted even if they tried to.

Why isn't Ubisoft making another Watch_Dogs?
The whole robots v humans thing is prime Watch_Dogs material, and we just see them being destroyed.
Considering that Watch_Dogs is Ubisoft's Dues Ex I want to see this tech being used against it's owners, not generic cannon fodder to be destroyed.
Fighting against robots is my least favorite thing in division 2 as they're just bullet sponges.
If the game is like wildlands with more customization and still being open-world with co-op then I'll be leaning towards considering it as those were my favorite aspects.
I'm not too fond of the story at the moment as toppling a cartel systematically was actually really fun in wildlands and allowed alot of room for creative missions and bosses.
Jesus Christ who the fuck wrote that monologue
who the fuck would want this over a new splinter cell with michael ironside
I'm really hoping we get an announcement on a new Splinter Cell at E3.
Are wildlands or division 2 worth checking out?
Wildlands is a fun, if somewhat shallow open world co-op shooter. It's very much an MGSV with co-op. Division 2 is a really solid looter shooter. Improves upon a lot of the stuff from the first one and just generally has a nice pacing and gameplay loop all around.
This looks really bad IMO. Why is it even called Ghost Recon? If it at least had good graphics, it might have a shot, but it looks really outdated and looks like the most generic shooter ever.
Its funny how this thread is largely negative towards it, while the Ghost Recon thread itself is absolutely ecstatic about this.
Cant they just go back to doing what future soldier was supposed to be like shown in the previews, that near-future next-gen soldier badass stuff, the stuff that it was actually based on, not some 'division-lite' bullshit, man
i want more of this stuff with that slick bullpup and shit

If this is Wildlands Part 2 sign me the fuck up. I get why you guys are disappointed that they aren't going back to old-school hardcore Ghost Recon but I think part of that is because ARMA has really hoovered up the sim market. Wildlands wasn't remotely bad and continued to improve well after launch, I'm assuming this was made largely by the same team so here's hoping they actually learned what works and the game itself is released in a good state.
It's what happens when your design team has to answer to your marketing team, who is now in charge of your game.
Looks like they've stopped bullshotting graphics but the walkthroughs are still fake as ever.
I feel like I kinda get what ubisoft wants to do but I'm probably not touching this unless it actually has a good launch.
Yeah there seems to be a huge divide between the people who played Wildlands and are excited for this and people who didn't. Personally I loved Wildlands, I have over 100 hours played in coop so probably close to 200 hours played total, which for a singleplayer/coop game is well over what I usually play. It had its fair share of problems, especially at launch, but Ubisoft did a great job of supporting it with constant quality of life upgrades.
To be fair to Ubisoft, Future Soldier sort of bombed and basically killed the franchise for a bit while Wildlands sold gangbusters. It's probably been surpassed by now, especially with the revival of Assassins Creed, but at the time of it's launch it was the fastest selling Ubisoft game ever. I'm not surprised they aren't going back to a Future Solder style game.
So, it's basically skyrim with guns?!
AWESOME!
I'll stick with GR1 tyvm
Just give me a new splinter cell game already Ubisoft
I wish they would also focus on telling interesting stories with compelling characters.
Gameplay can only do so much when the entire game is made of an irrelevant story with shallow characters, The Division 2 is their most recent game and also a good example of this, it has a nice gameplay and good atmosphere, Washington DC looks stunning, but everything else? Bland.
You either love the game mechanics so much that you don't care about the rest, or you'll be bored to death because there are no charming characters or interesting story arcs to keep you going.
I'm confused, is this a new standalone game or dlc for ghost recon wildlands?
