Can we take people who are genuinely dangerously stupid like this, and give them a town in the middle of the desert and give them a bottle of bleach and tell them all it'll remove the toxins. I'm talking anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, basically anyone anti-science.

Why is it so difficult to find a picture of what Bubonic Plague actually looks like on a person? There are descriptions of symptoms and diagrams but practically no photos of an actual living dude with it.

Education systems in Mongolia are probably nowhere near the standards we're used to in the west and there is just less availability of information. This defeatist attitude that we should just give up on people doesn't work for me. With anti-vaxxers, it's important that they're forced to vaccinate because of its effect on the children who have no agency to vaccinate and other children who cannot get vaccines due to being immunocompromised. However, with stories like this, the best answer is always education and picking holes in the more ridiculous 'alternative therapy' shit.

This is speaking from a point of ignorance, you can't hold rural Mongolians to the same educational standards as most of the developed world.

When you think about it, any stance on the matter is defeatist. Nature usually took care of them before we as a collective decided they're idiots, that's how we got here. Medieval executions took care of the rest. But nowadays we don't let neither happen, so who knows where that will lead us?

But seriously, I get what you mean in regards to so-called devolution of the species, but I think we'll have figured out a way to circumvent evolution making us stupid well before it becomes an issue. I also don't really see how Medieval executions fit in as they were normally quite political or for petty things like being a thief.
That's about as far away from "good health" as you can get.
