When I start the game I get this message, the game will then crash with the same message every 30mins or so. I've not had this problem before so I have no idea what it is. Support asked me to send a directx diagnostic report and output_log.txt located in the game files, so I did. They have not responded since, it's been a week.
Verify Integrity of Game Files
I did that already, I reinstalled the game too.
Is this a modded server by chance/
It will show on start of the game so it doesn't matter what server I'm in.
Try this :
Find this file and use the repair option
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
There you will find the setup application for EAC and open that it will offer you the option to Repair the anti cheat.
Oh yea I was going to mention I did this already, even reinstalling EAC. basically I did everything I could think of to fix this problem. what bothers me is I have not messed with the game files at all. The only time I messed with the files is when I was removing social club and that's for gta v because I was having problems with it too and that has nothing to do with this game.
The thing is it is tough for me to decipher what the exact exception is because it could be an EAC issue OR it could be a plugin issue. Which is why I asked about modded.
I cannot really assist beyond this if it is an EAC issue. With that said, I have seen this quite a few times and personally know that the issues with EAC go beyond your's.
The other area with plugins depends on which side of the coin you are on. If you are the operator of the plugin it is a corrupt file within a particular plugin.
Depending on how many you have, this could be troublesome because one has to go through the process of elimination in order to determine which plugin is causing the issue.
