Found a live snail in one of those once while working; fully sealed in and having a good ol' time munching and shitting all over it. I yanked him out and gave him a name, put him next to our organics scraps bin and he was team mascot for the day. Little fucker earnt it.
That's a traditional dish in France
That's so wholesome.
Little Fucker i'm guessing
We find a lot of snails, slugs and moths in the stuff that comes through. I save and name every single one and forget it by the end of the day since it happens often enough.
When I was a kid, I accidentally killed a moth and I held an impromptu funeral for it with a small candle-based pyre and small eulogy. I'm not even joking.
Its almost like plants are grown outside where things can poop on them! Whoa. This is why you wash everything before you eat it.
Yeah pretty much this, washing produce is always a good idea and it literally says on most produce packaging to wash before use, I work at tesco and heard a customer complaining because the cauliflower was dirty
Did you give him a name? I feel like you should have.
Weirdness said they did but forgot the name.
I hosted a bulgarian girl at my home. One day, she bought carrots from the supermarket, and she started munching on them, with dirt and all (she's like extreme raw vegan) I asked her why She told me the soil has nutrients. I had the biggest look of horror and disgust And she's even a nutritionist, she told me she advice her clients based on her personal beliefs.
woah nvm me, way too much heat lol
I see you met one of our local farmer girls
