What is Satisfactory?
Satisfactory is an early access video game created by Coffee Stain Studios. It is a 3D first-person open world exploration and factory building game.
Basically a 3D FPS version of Factorio.

played the open demo thing, thought it was ok, not worth the EGS shite though.

I like Satisfactory a lot. But it's not as good as Factorio imo. Im just waiting for more content right now.
That's not the problem with EGS and you know it. You're being completely disingenuous.
Kinda bummed the tier 7 stuff got delayed. I was taking a hiatus from the game so I didn't burn myself out too much before 1.0, but was still interested in seeing it at least.
Probably for the best though to get what is there more ironed out.
I'm very excited for the addition of trains.. and nuclear reactors.
I bought this before I was aware of the EGS stuff so I'm just gonna have to stick with it now and boycott the rest. Anyway I'll be posting here about stuff as I actually really like this game and I look forward to a Steam release so that others can enjoy it too
If it comes out on Steam I'd be interested. 3D Factorio could be fun, but I'm not willing to play an EGS exclusive.
Other than looking nicer what does it do that factorio hasn't done better?
Can we please keep the EGS shittalking out of this thread? The people who are actually interested in this game don't want to hear your useless nagging and don't care about your hate towards epic.
Currently there are no goals of mass extermination (there is friendly wildlife you can befriend!), but there appears to be a story linked to the mysterious FICSIT corporation that you're working for.
This story is obviously WIP and unfinished, but at the moment the game is basically a more relaxed version of Factorio with elements of exploration and survival. A variety of weapons such as a rebar gun, a tazer, a bigger tazer and a new assault rifle can now be fabricated based on what you research out in the wild.
The map is handcrafted, full of nooks and crannies just waiting to being explored (or exploited), so really the way you play is up to you.
But does it do factorymaking better than factorio? Actually let me scale that question back: Does it do factorymaking better than modded minecraft?

This is probably the most polished early access game ive played. The quality of life is already close to release Subnautica, and theyre just a few months into EA. Im gonna wait for more big updates before playing it again but damn its a great chill game, cant wait for trains and SAM Ore tech. Theyre listening to feedback closely too, conveyor lift was the #1 requested feature and they just added it.
