Hey guys and girls... So next week me and my fiancé are going on a 5-day trip to the mainland to stay at my future in-laws.
I haven't had a trip away for a good 18 months or so, so I am a bit lost as to what to pack, especially HOW MUCH to pack... Because I have always had the tendency to pack far too much of what I really need/use for the number of days away!
Any tips/suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
My rule of thumb is X DAYS +1 worth of clothes, in case something gets ruined.
For 5 days worth of travel, depending on how cleanly you are, you could probably get away with bringing 1-2 extra pair of pants.
Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Razer (all travel-size/disposable or portable electric)
Travel sized shower gel and shampoo are convenient as well.
you aren't exactly visiting some far away foreign land for long and are staying with relatives. All you really need are your manners, phone+charger, wallet, clothes and hygiene, honestly.
