This was also the guy from this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLrF8pcyr5o
this guy is such a douche
The fact he was paid through Paypal for it shows how unprofessional the heist was. I hope the person he sold it to gets arrested too.
And leaving evidence on your phone, which you then brought to the police (involuntary but should have seen that coming).
Big brains here.
Don't fuck with the mouse
"According to deputies, another Disney employee said Spikes sent them pictures showing the Buzzy clothing in Spikes' car. The pictures also showed a backpack that was used to conceal the stolen items."
Imagine being this fucking dumb that you share pictures of yourself stealing from your employer to your fucking co-workers.
Entire report is here in PDF format: https://orlando-rising.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Buzzy-Disney-World-arrest-warrant_Redacted.pdf
I personally doubt he stole the AA but could've gave "tips" to the party that actually did.
The altered search warrant is at 6:12 on his video if anyone is curious.
Reminds me of this:

Read the article for more - it's hilarious.
"Lmao how dare he not want people to touch his sandwich, what a twat"
Am I supposed to find this funny, or commendable, or anything beside douchey?
Shame really, I enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes at disney stuff that was posted outside of whoever this guy is.
But the actual whole debacle behind the missing anamatronic itself was hilarious (with it turning up to just be in storage), but I really don't stand with blatent theft such as this.
Obviously if this happened in my workplace or to a friend of mine, I'd have a different reaction, but even if the story is actually true and not just something made up, I try and find humour in silly things like that because I have a pretty irreverent sense of humour. I love David Thorne humour for the same reason and it's far more douchey than this could ever have been.
Clearly it's not been appreciated here though and I apologise for wasting your time.

taking an opportunity to drop this for more backstory
You know I think the worst part of this douche is that now Disney will crack down more on backlot security, both meaning that money will have to be funneled from something else and more important to us curious folk that we won't be seeing as much backdoor behind the scenes shots
Backdoor Disney, Go fuck yourself.
There is another update to the situation, as apparently he posted a photo of Buzzy decapitated:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/accused-thief-taunted-disney-world-093158597.html
I think it was the guy that got arrested's video about how disney RAIDED HIS HOUSE and he was TOTALLY INNOCENT
In a May 12 tweet, he tweeted a picture of Buzzy’s fate. The tweet showed a picture of Buzzy’s decapitated head, with its eyeballs scratched off. The image was included in a screenshot of a text Spikes received, which meant someone else might have stolen the robot.
What the hell was the idiot thinking tweeting that photo, him recieving that photo pretty much confirms that he had something to do with it's theft even if he didn't steal it himself, did he think he could fool people into thinking "oh I just recieved this photo but I'm totally not involved in what happened" and boost his views without anyone getting suspicious?
Also the twitter is gone but Google still has it in cache https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:RZO-LvazV8AJ:https://twitter.com/backdoordisney%3Flang%3Den+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=pt&client=firefox-b-d
i saw when he posted that on his Twitter and I swear he said it was a mold or something, not the actual head?
of course he plead not guilty

The way this guy even made a video about how innocent he was is the weirdest thing, what a nutter.
It is a mold, not the actual head. Apparently news sites don't know how to read.
