Hey everyone. I'm getting weird performance issues with 3DS Max and TF2. They don't happen in basic things like Chrome and Discord, and I haven't tested anything else really.
Basically, everything is just really stuttery, especially mouse movement. It's not just low framerate. It actively shoots back slightly like an old mouse trail in mouse settings. Aiming is impossible and navigating 3DS Max is infuriating. I have no idea what could be causing it. I tried restarting multiple times and reinstalling display drivers. I'm honestly clueless, other than the fact I'm using mostly stable versions of windows 10 through the windows insider program.
The weird thing is when I tried to go to settings to deactivate it, it didn't even have an account set up and acted like I never touched insider before. I recently did a complete reinstall of windows through pc settings a couple months ago and I really don't want to go through that again. Any idea what I could do to troubleshoot this? It's so strange and I've never experienced it before. Maybe I could get an older version of Windows 10 and install it while keeping personal data? I want to save that as a last resort though. I'll keep playing around with troubleshooting for now.
