That's really interesting, I hope we get more meme history based on stuff from the early internet days.
I can definitely see where 'Techno Viking' was coming from, the whole idea of "embracing it and cashing in" works for some but I really wouldn't want to be known as "That meme guy" for the rest of my life.
Then again you probably wouldn't instantly drag the guy to court, not even show up, and have him pay 20K out his pocket.
Viking really should have established a direct line of communication and try and come to a resolution before lawyering up. The artist guy was willing to split the profits, maybe if viking actually responded like a normal person and said no the artist at least wouldn't have to pay for court proceedings.
Sounds like a case of poor communication to me, could be that Viking never even got his response in the first place.
What if it's actually Thor and he just wants Asgard to remain a secret?
