Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
didn't even know CSGO'd was even a term
damn, quake champions has gotten a lot slower paced since last i played
Yeah its like. Getting Arma'd
Was it always like this or is it a recent thing?
CSGO is... weird. Even when I played it casually, you'd have shots just kinda not exist. Point blank you would empty a magazine and somehow, out of thirty shots you'd have hit maybe a tenth of them.
These are old clips as the description points out. They fixed the hitboxes in the last year or so. But it hasn't curbed the problem entirely, and both netcode and hitboxes can just hate your existence.
It's always been like this. I don't know CSS well enough to tell you if it was the same though.
I remember some of these clips being shown to Valve, and getting these blind ass "everything is fine, if you look closely, you weren't even aiming at him" its not even funny still remember in Source when I stopped playing because of a "barrel to the head" kind of deal of a shot from an AK doing 30 damage
I cannot believe this game has been played for money in that state.
To understand getting csgo'd, first we just understand Parallel Universes
Takes half a decade to compile 4 minutes of content to mislead people who don't read descriptions to think that this is the state of the game.
crowbcat posting disingenuous videos to spread misinformation, who could have seen that coming.
You can make any game look bad if you cherry pick clips
Tbh I know that Crowbcat is doing a bad job of showing that this doesn't usually happen and that some of these are old clips but it's still bizarre to me of how bad luck these ppl got

is this 7th realm chess memes or something?
You're pointing this out as if more than 15% of the people on youtube read the description
jokes on your, embeded videos doesn't have descriptions. wich is why you put that info somewhere on the video itself.
This seems pretty low quality for crowbcat considering the standards he's set with previous videos. A lot of these clips were before they massively overhauled hitboxes. Don't get me wrong it can still happen, it's just not nearly as big a problem as it was a few years ago. Obviously the common viewer will probably take that as gospel but oh well.

His most viewed video is "Nintendo Switch painful launch" Ah yes, the travesty that was the launch of the Switch. Remember the threads and threads of people complaining how poor the Nintendo Switch's launch was and how much damage Nintendo would suffer from all the work they had to do trying to fix owner's consoles? Me neither, because the Switch's launch was fine.
Is that when your truck does a flip and you end up on the far side of the moon?
CSGO literally has some of the absolute hitbox and netcode tech in any FPS. this video is dumb garbage
https://clips.twitch.tv/DependableSeductiveTeaNomNom https://streamable.com/anf1w Yes. Both of these clips are just from FPARMA's missions this weekend.
lol it's just a meme video why the fuck is everyone getting caremad as if this youtuber is out there to undermine the integrity of Counter-Strike and destroy its business
People take it seriously because other people take the video seriously. You can critique the fact that 9/10 times Crowb makes a misleading video that people parrot for ages and call him out. A key example is the Giant Bomb VR video where he grossly misrepresents the crew's opinions to the point they considered asking him to take it down. Saying something is a 'meme' does not preclude it from criticism.
That was an incredibly irritating period because you would point out that 99.9% of users weren't suffering these issues and people would just go "but the youtube man said so" and act like there was some massive scandal going on.
Just a sidenote that I've currently put 1525 hours in this game since getting it 2012'ish and I've never been "CSGO'd". I had other issues sure, but never regarding hitboxes.
