• Problem with prop_static creation

So I modeled a custom tree for a map a friend of mine is working on and no matter what I try I cannot get it to compile as a prop_static, it will only ever compile as a prop_dynamic or prop_dynamic_override. From what I can tell the error that crowbar is giving me is just a simple warning but shouldn't effect the model itself (compile log in a pastebin below). When I go to compile the map it gives me the typical cannot find file specified which appears to be linking with the following error: Unable to load vertex data "models/redtreemodel01.vvd", redtreemodel01 is the custom model I have, full compile log is also below along with the qc that im using. Crowbar compile log: Compiling ".\redtree.qc" ... Output from compiler "E Hammer compile log: ** Executing... ** Command QC File: $modelname "redtreemodel01.mdl" $staticprop $bodygroup "Bo.. Tried compiling the model using source SDK Multiplayer 2013, HL2, CSS. and GMod.
Problem had to do with the QC file path for the model name, has so be folder/modelname.mdl
Here, take those coins ( Ofc ik youll never visit this forum again ). But I like this kind of people, who're posting solutions for their threads.
