holy shit have they STILL not added a shopping cart??
Outside of a single instance, how many times has this actually occurred?
A few is a fluke, hundreds of times is a fuck up
Yea as shit as EGS this is just a very rare thing caused by fraud rules.
Can happen in Steam as well, even if you buy things with a shopping cart.
Still pretty bad that you have to go through payment process multiple times just because they can't manage to implement a simple shopping cart.
The UE4 market actually has one by the way.
Don't worry. It's planned. It's coming. You just have to wait a few months because it is a really complicated feature to program.
Nope, and it's so bad that there's a collection of multiple Jackbox packs that you have to buy individually on their own special page as they can't sell bundles.
they're having a sale right now, the first major such event of EGS, and EG is massively subsidizing the costs to get people on the platform so this is the first time a lot of people are seeing this store.
Even epic knows its suspicious for people to buy multiple games on their store. What kind of message does that send?
Kind of a weak article considering it happened to a small handful of users

That isn’t bad tbf
Small Indie Studio. Plz no flame.
Remember when Steam did this

Big oof and a yikes and a sigh
If you refund lots of games in quick succession, do you become the CEO of Epic?
I have had the same thing happen on steam to my own account, and apparently you get a human response from EGS if you contact support about it so it's in their favour on this matter.
No, because that wasn't technically Valve or Steam. That was Akamai, one of the largest CDNs in the world, who fucked up and their system was serving people cached pages that weren't theirs.
Funny thing is they have a cart on their UE4 Marketplace
I mean to be fair Steam used to do the same shit to me. On my birthday a bunch of people bought me some games. Then I went to buy myself something but couldn't. Had to contact steam support and found out they put a lock on my account for suspected fraudulent activity lol... This was years back tho so I'd like to think they've ironed shit out since then.
It's still just this one dude that's been affected? Why are they acting as if it's going to happen to everyone?
This is not good reporting at all, sorry.
