TBH the dumb monkeys should be given a choice - your kid can face the egalitarian teachings that everyone else gets with your consent or the autonomy to choose it gets taken away. They shouldn't get a choice and anybody who wants to protest it can fuck off back to the 7th century.
The problem is these protestors will pull the race card and call anyone telling them they're homophobic assholes "Islamophobes" and say they're "Not tolerant of my religious beliefs," and people let them get away with this shit.

They have a right to protest in a democracy like all citizens do, the police also have the right to break their hateful protest up for disturbing the peace, intimidation, and blackmail.
Handling this protests is going to be harder than you think, the protesters are already organizing quite quickly and are coordinating nationally. It's actually kind of scary just how quickly and effectively they have been able to organize.

Not really. Most of the ones who wear the buraq are often times connected to the much more extreme versions of Islam. Like Salafism and Wahhabism. And most of the more moderate and less conversative groups denounce this practice.
