Tom King taken off of Batman prior to end of contract, will still work with DC

Initinally the plan was to give him 100 issues, and because of cross over issues and stuff his run would have ended at #108. There's been no announcement who will take over next, but there's a suspicion that Brian Michael Bendis will be taking over.

Was he good? I only followed Scott Snyder's run, and when rebirth happened I switched to All-Star Batman.

I would say he had strong footing at the very beginning, but as the issues drag on the narrative struggles, he can't get his point across and repeats dialogue constantly. He's gotten really edgy too, he wrote a small story in a Walmart Superman collection where Clark is waiting in line somewhere in space and can't contact Lois so he imagines her being shot in the head by Lex Luthor.
