https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48374841 Theresa May's Brexit withdrawal bill will not be published or debated until early June, the government says. The prime minister is continuing to face pressure from her own MPs to resign following her pledge of a "new deal" on Brexit. It comes after Commons leader Andrea Leadsom stepped down on Wednesday night over the PM's Brexit policy. Several cabinet ministers have also told the BBC that Mrs May cannot stay in her post. Standing in for Mrs Leadsom, Mark Spencer told the Commons: "We will update the House on the publication and introduction of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill on our return from the Whitsun recess." He added that the government planned to publish the bill in the first week of June. "We had hoped to hold second reading on Friday 7 June," he added. "At the moment, we have not secured agreement to this in the usual channels. Of course we will update the House when we return from recess." On Wednesday, Theresa May told the Commons that the legislation would be published on Friday. This is fucking absurd.
Just go away already.
Standing in for Mrs Leadsom, Mark Spencer told the Commons: "We will update the House on the publication and introduction of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill on our return from the Whitsun recess." Of course we will update the House when we return from recess." THE CHEEKY FUCKERS ARE HAVING ANOTHER BREAK???? we're royally screwed. royally fucked. completely and utterly boned.
I think everything that has happened in the last few days is pretty indicative that she's going soon. She won't survive the Brexit process, but you want to be careful what you wish for; get rid of Theresa, you're likely to get Boris (or Andrea, apparently).
At this point Brexit is that one really super important university essay you were supposed to work on throughout the entire year to reduce the excessive workload but knowingly put it off until the last week, and nobody is sympathizing with your distress because you brought this on yourself. Except instead of your degree at stake it's the entire fucking country
And those useless sacks of shit have the gall to make the rest of Britain work to the bone for less pay, less benefits, less opportunities, and overall less financial security than they had in their time.
Not just the country, the EU will be affected by Brexit as well.
I looked at the papers this morning, they really picked some shocking faces of May. They really had a 'end it all' vibe going on.
probably put it into writing that you brits will delay the withdrawal until the end of the EU
When the heat death of the universe happens, we promise we'll get on it.
Why is there a constant delay allowed? Like hell we all be on our death beds and the news be like Brexit delayed till June 2105
here's one from a few days ago https://static.standard.co.uk/s3fs-public/thumbnails/image/2019/05/20/13/cartoon2005a.jpg?width=1368
