Actually doesn't look that bad. Looks better then Geniuses
I wish it were illegal for a studio to make more than three of the same movie.
They should do more practical effects and not waste money and time on CGI which looks like shit... I want new Terminator movie, but this looks like Michael Bay's CGI voting.
That massive burning airplane at 1:58 sounds like a small torch

Not feeling it, shame.
There were only two Terminator movies made
The only thing that I've wanted from this franchise is a character trying to survive in the post-apocalypse. The closest the franchise came to that for me is the Terminator: Future Shock/SkyNet game.
Mission Impossible 6 was arguably the best in the series, so I disagree. As long as quality remains good, studios should be able to make as many sequels as is warranted.
Tencent Pictures,oh no....
Dat Saiga Drum Mag though. (Is that Saiga 12?) I mean the music wasn't bad but the action felt off, almost cheap looking? I don't know if that's just crap scene selection but I'm also somewhat bored of seeing slow motion being used a lot. It's also following the trend of introducing new Terminator models with each new movie, T-1000, T-X, T-3000 and now this T-Something, it just says "advanced liquid metal Terminator prototype", the T-1000 was also an Advanced Prototype, what's considered Advanced by Skynet? Fucking machines man.
Actually looks good. People need to be less judgemental.
Is it just the Terminator Cinematic Multiverse now?
I like the tone and feeling the trailer gave me. But the "I'm going hunting" started to sound kind of lame when repeated multiple times.
Could be good, could turn out like Genisys. My gripes here are the piss poor choice in trailer music and their choice for a new baddie Terminator. He looks less like a main villain and more like a random goon or minion.
Doesn't look great but I love Mackenzie Davis so I'm on board

Music didn't fit the trailer at all, which is my main gripe. Otherwise? Looks like a decent dumb action movie that I'll watch when it hits Netflix.
I'm so glad this movie is ignoring everything past Judgement Day
This is the third attempt to start a new terminator trilogy after Salvation and Genisys fell flat. Good fucking Christ it just won’t die.
Funnily enough, I found out earlier today that YouTube Movies has the original Terminator for free (with ads if you don't have a blocker): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7_qI6_mIXc
Please, I just want a terminator movie that focuses on John Connor becoming the leader of humens after Judgement day
this is just Terminator 2 is it
The issue with that, IMO, is that the premise of Skynet sending Terminators back in time relies on the fact that the humans are winning the war. There's no reason to try to kill Sarah or John Connor in the past if Skynet is on the verge of victory. All you can do is the war between the time of Sarah Connor's meeting with Kyle Reece and the moment John sends Kyle back in time. Once Kyle Reece goes back in time the war is won because it sets up all the events that lead to that point.
I like the theory that Skynet purposefully keep human alive because he will have no purpose if they are all exterminated.
You don't have to follow Kyle Reese, you just have to follow survivors trying to escape SkyNet's robots with a hopeful ending with the humans looking like they're going to win the war. A mix of character study and awesome action film. It can still be good despite knowing the ending outcome.
Was hoping that the return to the t2 timeline would stay thematically and tonally consistent with those films, this just feels like another generic blockbuster
I actually got excited during the interview with Cameron and Miller, seemed like they had a good mindset about the movie. This trailer just threw all that out the window.
Then we wouldn't have John Wick 3. Your opinion is invalid.
