For those unfamiliar: Saudi Arabia killed Khashoggi a little less than 6 months ago. Also, Trump invoking a state of national emergency to make this happen is directly bypassing Congress, whose job it would be to do this sort of thing.

Trump is assuming Congressional powers without remorse and is justifying his actions with "Well if we didn't sell arms to our enemies, we'd have no allies; do you really want me to throw away hundreds of thousands of jobs just because they mercilessly assassinated a US Citizen inside a consulate?"

the persons actually interested in this have the odds stacked against them, and the persons involved in such a case insist that god emperor trump can't be sued and the judiciary should have no executive oversight because they don't believe in checks and balances. at this point, i'm pretty sure rough justice is the only way out, and I dont give a damn about whatever happens after that because some stupid butthurt redneck with a hard on for going back to the 1800s got upset about it. They can be squashed legally with any one of the laws on the playbook, which unfortunately dont seem to apply to the head of state unless he's called Obama.
