You want a nice one, so you're able to remember it and take photos,” he said. Shane said he picked up the cake on the morning of the birthday party, but didn’t check because he was in a rush getting other supplies for the event. When the couple opened the cake, they saw a minimalist green happy face and a number "3" piped onto a lime-green frosting background. Shane said Amy was particularly upset because the guests were supposed to arrive soon, and she did not want to serve the “pathetic” cake. Fucking amazing.
This cake sucks, quickly. CALL THE MEDIA!
An attempt was made.
100% expected some pepe shit, it's the 'pathetic' frog that's always generating outrage these days
The next piece of the puzzle has been uncovered. Send the cake to valve.
It's not like they're going to keep the cake forever so why complain so much I don't think your three year olds going to give a shit either :v
while it's deliberate laziness, it's also not worth raging over and certainly not news worthy.
the kid just wants to smash his face through the cake and make a mess.
Depends on how much they paid for it. If you're shelling out money for a custom made cake you at least expect some level of quality and effort.
Not the decorator's fault that they can't understand his artistic vision. He really captured the essence of the frog on the cake - the green, the smiley face, the 3.
Being disapointed with the cake and wanting something better for a birthday is one thing, but this sounds like a non-story: Shane said he called Woolworths to see if they could fix the cake on short notice, but was told the store didn’t “decorate” cakes — though he pointed out the supermarket has pre-made cakes for sale and confirmed they would be able to make the cake he requested when he ordered it. He phoned and was told they don't decorate cakes. For some reason he equates pre-made cakes to having an entirely custom cake. They obviously just took a pre-made cake and made a slight adjustment to it for him....because they don't decorate cakes.
$35 usd according to the article. Really not that big of a deal imo.
This is reminding me of the time like bakery up in the city messed up my mom's name instead of Pam it was pain

i for one think he looks handsome
still incredibly relevant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U4Ha9HQvMo
yaeh the kid's so young he won't remember it. I sure as shit can't remember anything from my third birthday. Earliest concrete memories I have are vague snapshots of the yaer I spent in kindergarten in Arizona before my fam moved to TN. And I can clear-as-day remember sitting midship in that U-haul van going down the freeway during said move.
Here I was hoping they'd accidentally bought a frog cake that insults you instead of just a lazily decorated cake.
Out of touch boomers don't understand metamodernist design
I don't think so, are you aware of the high flying guests that 3 year old invited to his party?
Australia, so a normal news day.

They do not understand that this cake is a surprise reveal of being an ultra realistic three dimensional projection of a frog as soon as they sliced into it.
I don't know what they're talking about that cake is a work of art
that's actually kinda funny
