I have zero hype for this game, all I know about this "game" is that norman reedus has a fetus.
I don't get how anyone is getting hyped or is hyped over this game, is it just because it's Kojima?
Going by what I've seen, I think its gonna Metal Gear gameplay with a silent hill atmosphere.
Being a Metal Gear fan I'm definitely interested in what the guy's come up with and I think the game looks very interesting, just not enough for me to buy a PS4 just for it.
Alot of people seem to ride kojimas dick regardless of what he does, He could take a shit and still be praised for it.
Personally i got zero hype for this game so far and it's probably going to be another 8 minute trailer that tells us nothing, i'll be surprised if he shows gameplay this time around or even a release date.
Knowing myself i'll probably end up buying it anyway, And it'll probably be like MGS V all over again in terms of disappointment.

I don't see how anyone can pretend they have "0 hype" for this game unless you hate games that don't automatically pander to all established AAA game tropes. The industry is starving for some innovation right now and whether it's good or bad, Death Stranding wants to be different and that's a plus in my book. It's not just Kojima.
Well I'm not pretending I have 0 hype, I don't have any hype, I have some interest as to what this game is since it pops up often enough and when it does it feels like everyone goes nuts over it.
I don’t think he’s infalliable but he has a pretty solid track record. Even his worst game (MGS imo) has incredible gameplay and really only sucked because the story was unfinished, and the environments were a little boring.
I’ve yet to play a game series I like more than MGS to be honest. PT demo was an solid take at horror. Hell even his obscure games like Boktai hold a special place in my heart.
If Death Stranding ends up being way too abstract and dumb, that’s fine. But I’m pumped as hell until then.

i have complete faith that even if the story is only so-so the game will still be fun to play. if there's one hallmark every kojima game has, it's good gameplay

Guerilla Games, whose the maker of the engine Death Stranding is using, is a first party developer for Sony. Not much chance it'll come to PC.

I have 0 hype because I dont know what it is or what you do. So far all I know is you walk around with some boxes and people age fast in the rain. Show me what this game is about and I will start to be interested.

Because it's got a bunch of weird shit in it and I want to go exploring. I don't know what's to be expected from this, and that's half the fun. Going in totally blind with basically no expectations usually results in the best games for me.
